In
1820, a peasant was digging in his field on the island of Milos when he
discovered four buried statues. 3 of Hermes & 1 of Aphrodite. The
peasant sold the statue of Aphrodite to a French archaeological
expedition, which brought it to the Louvre, where Louis XVIII named it
'Venus de Milo'. Today, it's one of the most famous statues in the
world. Kinda makes you wonder what's buried in your backyard... Probably
gas lines... I wouldn't worry about it.
